Boole home gets heritage fund award

The former home of one of the fathers of computer science is among the 28 sites to benefit from government funding for conservation work on heritage buildings.

No. 5 Grenville Place in Cork is where George Boole wrote his seminal An Investigation of the Laws of Thought while Professor of Mathematics at Queens College Cork in the mid-1800s.
